fit's are cursed with noise? Anyone know why that car has noise related issues? I would suspect that the noise must be common across all fit cars.

The RCAs have to be ran up thru the headliner to get 0 noise.

Gas tank/pump and fan are the culprits

Thanks - but today's head way was 30 minutes. I'm used to working 14 hours.

That's some really nice work on that cable. It looks great

Are you not concerned at all that you had to unbraid a fair bit of it (looks like 6" or so) and the physical noise rejection is now gone in what is probably the noisiest area of the car?

I mean, it'll probably be just fine but it would be a shame considering what that chunk of Kimber probably cost That braided shielding might just be something to keep in mind.

That Kimber PR series is very inexpensive, I am using it myself for the HF/ MID on my car, similar cable ID and all that I just opted to use a translucent marker tape (scotch tape) LOL

You both a very right "inexpensive". Paul - Wayyyy ahead of you - you must of missed the talk on noise rejection a few posts back^^^^

J V - I paid $120 for 20ft - they get me a deal since I was using it in a unique manner.

Today is my 2nd year Wedding Anniversary so the wife only allowed me 2 hours to work on the car. So did the rest of the RCA cable, minus the ends which will TBA
