I think the lack of flaming can be attributed to the mods. Some people accuse the mods of being "dictators" or "control-freaks" or whatever accusations they would like to use. But when it comes down to it, because the mods know where to draw the line, and stop unnecessary posts etc, flamers soon realize that type of posting cannot happen here.

Yeah I guess this board is pretty good. It's had it's moments way back when, but all in all, it's cool. I actually use to be a Mod, but I was behaving badly and launched for reasons now buried. Water long gone under the bridge hopefully
There's some great information that gets brought back here as a lot of us surf the other forums. So that's actually awesome for newbies onto the Canadian Car Audio scene. But there's a few heavies around that don't seem to show up here (friends and people of Big Mac's era........ eh Dave!!!) that it would be nice to get some contribution from them on a regular basis. But all in all, I think that this board is VERY reflective of the car audio scene in Canada........... both in the good and bad. And the odd time something international sparks here........... like that RE thread. Wow, that was something !!!
