I am looking for a pair of 6.5" Components on a rather tight budget. I have listened to a few brands locally (Alpine, JL, Infinity, Focal) and I really liked the Focal 165 A1's for the price. I have been offered by a member here a pair of CDT-62CF's for a good price. I am wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to hear both the Focal's and CDT's and could share some insight on the subject.

FYI This is going in my Miata with an Alpine 7949 HU and Alpine 3549 (100w X 2) amp.

I would say run the focals i have heard both sets and believe me focal will be amazing. I personally will only run focal in my car.
