brandon lighten up. my point is eveyone goes oh ah about a fancy amp made over seas that sells for 3x what ithere worth!! just because it says made france dont make it good but it sure as hell looks nice, and as far as canadians making stuff sorry dude i will buy canadian as often as i can good or bad i love my country not france not japan not germany but canada!!!! and another thing we are the absolute smartest and advanced in phycoaqustics and all matters related to sound in the world period.. go to www.nrc.ca and check it out...be proud of your country dude. now off to some real serious matters... pat can i bring my famous kooler to your show?

The Focal amps have a very good chance of sounding good.
Although I am not aware of 12V electronic lines from France, they do have world class home electronics in companies like YBA, Jadis etc.
In todays age of manufacturing, a good product can come from any country really. It has more to do with good R&D, sourcing good parts and securing a reliable factory that has QC as a priority.
