Fuses To be Used ?

Hey just a quick one. What size fuses should be used in the following.

- The fuse holder that goes right on my main power wire, from my battery.

- And lastly, what size fuses to use on my Gold Quest Distrubition Block. I will be running the 4g main power wire, to split into two 8g wire to run to my amps.

I'd use 80-120 amps for the main line under the hood, since the fuse there is only to protect your car from short circuits.

in the fuse holder, I'd use probly 40A for each wire.

i would also add one at your split (if you go to a show and do not have one there you will not get points )

I hope you're not implying the fuse directly in the amp...
