I know this has been mentioned in the past, but what are some good sq cds, that were recorded well etc.

I don't have many discs that sound amazing, so Im wondering what you guys/girls reccomend.

Is there a recording company i should look for like shefield labs?

Any discs that arnt too expensive and won't break the bank, and maybe also offer some decent listening music as well

In my opinion there is no better CD for car testing then the MECA test cd. This is one of the best recordings I have ever heard. It's a must have if your serious about SQ.

Where can one get a MECA or IASCA disc? Preferably in the GTA.

If you go to one of their events they should have them for sale. Or you could order them online. The MECA disc is all music (with brief intro's to tell you what to listen for). The IASCA disc has a few technical tracks (like pink noise) to help you attain your goals. They are both very good disc's.

You must of missed this thread > USACi disc
I picked up one, it's great.

Also, lately I picked up an old Supertramp - Crime of the Century cd. Very good sq and of course great music if you're not familiar with this recording.
