Grand prix strip and rebuild

hey guys so i guess ill do my best to do a log of everything i do to the car from now on, just got that last pieces of the build in last night that included the addition to my car of a 4th lrx amplifier, being a lrx 1.1 and the SWI-JACK steering wheel interface controller pics should be coming up later today and we will see how the strip down starts out..

it will begin with the subwoofer box rebuild and then onto the trunk layout

sweet lol i love intrest

for anyone wondering ill break down the system list..

Headunit:
kca 717dvd kenwood
SWI steeringwheelinterface
kenwood ipod controller
g510 garmin kenwood navigation

Speakers:
Hertz hv 200 8" midbass in the doors
Hertz hsk 165 6.5" midbass and 1" tweeter
Type r 12" dvc 2ohm (may change)

Amplifiers: 4 total
Lrx 4.5 for left mid/tweet 240rms each
lrx 4.5 for right mid/tweet 240 rms each
lrx 2.9 for midbass 260rms i believe
lrx 1.1 for subwoofers. in setup will have 800 rms

all wiring is 0/1 guage till the distro bloack with a optima battery int he trunk

when im posting pics i would love for the gurus to pick at the install and let me know what i may get dinged on in sq thanks guys its been an amazing first season for me and i plan on making a good finish to it!

snapped some pics today of the rca cables that i will be using on the install the whole way in the car, every cabel will be the same style. and also a pic of the steeringwheel control unit that is now installed and working very nicely!

Did you put the techflex on the rca's, or did they come that way?
you were right, they are nice BTW...lol

Where are you going to put, and how big is the screen that is going to be running off that computer?
Model number on it?

I want to do the same as I have access to lots of computer hardware, but cant find a decent screen. (7-10" with a resolution above 800x600)

there are tons of different screens out there however i dont recomend cheaping out on them as you will be pissed. get a lilliput or a xenarc. they are they best ones.
i have a lilliput myself its a 8" 4:3 aspect ratio screen and is already in the car below the kenwood touch screen. and yes the lilli is touch screen. the software is awesome and makes most decks look like a joke lol

btw the whole front of my car is done so here are a few snaps of it for those who have not seen it

they came that way. thats why i wanted to use them lol they are very nice
