Have $1000 to increase SQ...guidance?
Thanks guys, this is way more response than I was expecting.
MR2NR, I have been considering the 165KBE to make it the K3P set, my only concern is with the kicks I would need. If I went with the 165 kit, I would pull the mids that are in the lower door and put the extension kit in their place but i would have to put the original mids in a kick somewhere. I'm afraid of the size I would require for both it and the tweets. This is why I considered adding a 3 inch mid instead of the kit. Since I am running an active setup, I would cut the current midbass at 300hz, hence giving the whole midrange to the new 3 inchers. These would be mounted with the tweets in either a kick (down low) or integrate them together up in the upper doors or dash.
I will try and snap some pictures of the dash area tomorrow when its light.

Here are some pics of the car.
You will see the 6.5's are pulled forward. I built up the stock mounts with this 1 inch hard nylon stuff (UHMV ??) and matting, plus added a few sheets inside the doors. Its a nice tight install for the 6.5's.

I kind of wondered about the orientation of that diffuser. The kicker is that the installer that put in the tweets, set the cups in some sort of body filler, so I can't move them. I think he thought that the diffuser moved separately of the whole tweeter/cup assembly.
Sorry but I do not have pictures of the inside the doors.

Does this apply to the Utopia midbass drivers also? Does that mean that the openings in the door should NOT be covered with Dynamat to give the mids more "air" ?
Also, where is the best place to mount the TN-51 ? In the A-pillar, or by the mids in the door ? And, how should the phase diffuser be aligned if the tweeters are installed in the A-Pillar ?
