Question Helix or brax hxa1000qx questions

Hi I need some assistance. I am looking at buying a brax hxa1000qx I saw on ebay.com. The price right now is so damn cheap I am amazed (so far anyways..lol). I bought one of these a few years ago and never got to install it. I remember hearing it and having my breath taken away from the clarity at higher volumes. Of course back then I paid through the nose for it at the time (it was a cash and parts trade omething like 800 us). I had to sell it when I graduated before I even got to enjoy it and have compared everything since to it. I have since had a Brutus 1600, JL 500/1 . 1000/1, US amps , soundstorm x5000, a couple MTX and one HC but nothing sounds "Good ENough" on my 12W7 JL. I am using a sealed enclosure and would really like the helix is what is comes down to. I guess my question is whats a "good price" to bid for my maximum and when should I place the bid. I asked friends who "ebay" and some say right away to scare off other bidders, and others say to wait till the last minutes to try to get it cheap. I Really want the amp and have no quams spending a few hundred to own it but am unsure how to go about it. I am new to all this so please any input would be most helpful. thanks

no offense dude...but you sound like the guy selling it trying to get more bidders for your amp. If you want it so bad, just bid the max you can afford!!

I see where you could say that, but why would I bid on my own auction ;-) and not just list it for sale on ebay.

the JL W7 gives it away Nice try.

** Updated Oct 1: If interested in the JL 12W7 and Matched ported box, I will do a combo price if you email with your interest.

Damn you caught me, I should have realized this would happed since the 12W7 was limited production and they only made ONE which was sold to me, after all BTW I also have a 15.2 HCCA, 3 more 12w7, IDmaxs, and a bunch of other stuff.lol
