I think I may try with the converter, and if the low freq's are very noticeable, then I will get a crossover.

Edit. This is the crossover I would need http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15881
True, but you're only using 2 channels of it for the 6x9's.

If you need all 4, RCA splitters could be used.

The converter is a waste of time and money, just pick up a cheap crossover.

You'll more than likely want a crossover for your sub amp as well anyways.

I told you about 20 posts ago that i have a Kicker crossover. It splits signal between my subs and 6x9's. I paid 100, i'll sell it for 50.

let me know if you would like to see or here it work, then i'll tak it out. I won't need it when i get my new HU Installed.

You may get some random crossover for less than $50, but the Kicker is a pretty decent piece.

Yeah, what he said.....

With only one preout from your deck, a dedicated xover will take care of splitting the signal for each set of speakers and help when it comes to setting the gain levels on your amps. I haven't seen anything on the net that says you can't use the Legacy as a 2 channel amp, so there is probably a switch on it beside one pair of the input RCA's to feed the signal to all 4 of the channels, and the speaker terminals should show you how to hook up only 2 speakers.

HTH

This is what I have planned for it all.

1st, get a cable converter, to convert the speaker wires comming from my deck to RCAs.
Next, get the Boss Audio BX35 Crossover. It has the 4 inputs, ( which will come from the converter ). And it also has 2 Sub inputs, which I will get right from the 2 RCA outputs from my deck.
From the crossover out to my amps, Legacy LA-290, and I am thinking the Legacy LA-1990 for my 2 Infinity 1250w.
