Has anyone tried this? My friend is installing this to my ride. I'm curious how will this sound.

 

if you dont know what they sound like why are they going in YOUR car? I HOPE you friend knows what they sound like and knows how to install them properly...

Should sound really good if installed properly. Far too often though whena "friend" installs things, the speakers are not sealed properly to their baffles, small wiring is used. etc etc. and installation is really not ideal so the speakers will only sound around half as good as they can at best.

 

Oh i just refer to him as my friend which is actually a professional installer and has won numerous awards. My hsk 2 ways are already installed im just adding hv100. What im trying to ask is if this will sound better than my prior.

 

depends what you had before. When dealing witht he higher end speakers installation generally has more effect than the parts themselves

 

a higher resolution system should sound better but occasionally the added resolution allows you to hear the errors your system (or the recording ) has more clearly.

 

dont you hate that. lol on my old system my ipod sounded great now.. well i have since gone back to carrying my cd wallet around lmfao

 

how do the 3 ways sound?

 

my 3 way won a local competition in sq here back home.

 

... so go listen to them, make sure it is what you want, there is a lot of good sounding stuff out there... lots of speakers win competitions
