Haha, thanks Jamie. I still say for a daily driver car that is never used for competition an RTA is a waste.
An experienced tuner can get a car sounding way better than even an average competitor armed with an RTA. Alot of competitors that have access to RTA's get experienced tuners to help with their cars before finals etc, and RTA's aren't used that much there (in the tweek and tune).

RTA proves nothing, get someone with experience to adjust it by ear.

I have also found my RTA to be a useful tool for L vs R performance and as Dereck put out in another thread it can even help with absolute phase and cancellations.
Yan if you are ever in the states (Mid-Atlantic region) and think “hmm, this would be the perfect time to RTA my ride" you are welcome to stop by.
And how in the heck did this thread go on such a wild tangent?

thx for the information, i am a beginner but i really want to get good sound quality in my car, i went to KHF and they are very expensive.
Now i am using only one Genesis Dual mono to run my 165V for the front, and i have a phoenix gold 500.2 to run two subs.
but now i want to use one Genesis 2X100 for the tweeter, and another 2X100 for the 6.5 mid and one more amp for one sub , is it a good idea, and also, i really dont' like the tweeter of the focal, it's too sharp, i think it's better to use the DLS iridium.. do you guys have any suggestion for the speakers, i prefer silk dome tweeter, thx
