Would anyone like to see SQ competitions still taking place in canada or is SPL where its at??

There will be more shows coming this year then in the last few years. From what I hear, there will be a points system set up in for the Ontario region. If you enter enough shows you will get invited to the "Ontario finals" or what ever it will be called. Big prizes and lots of fun.

I will be hosting a few small laid back shows in the K/W area as well as in Cambirdge. I would also like to make some show happen in the London area. If anyone has a suggestion, please let me know.

I have been promoting this concept in BC for years. A bunch of shops each hosting only ONE show (whoo the commitment eh. one show) would make for a full season and then some combined BC finals.

BUT BC retailers have ignored this awesome concept. So much easier to do nothing and then bitch that sales are down

Have you tried contacting the suppliers I knowsome suppliers will offer to host them for the shops in order to drive in business or to just promote the industry. My company currently has an outdated Audiocontrol system that is like 10 years old and wouldnt be able to judge SPL properly at all and I dont know if it needs any kind of calibration for sq either. I have been talking along with my company of hosting something at our new shop which is in alberta we will see what happens in the upcoming year.

i have contacted Iasca and i know it was very inexpensive to join when I talked to Moe Sabourin and he was of great help on the phone. I really wish canada was much like california when it comes to car audio just crazy.

 

Would you know if there are any SQ shows in Vancouver /Lower mainland?

 

Im working on my vehicle... I am Hopeful that it will be done buy april/May... where is K/W???

The points system for ontario, "Ontario Finals" is that going to be sanctioned by Iasca??? or by who???
