Infinate baffle mids

I have two sets of 5.25 morel components, trying to get optimun SQ from these speakers,I referenced the loudspeaker cookbook and WINISD PRO,They are infinate baffle speakers,ok so give me a sub I'll design a box,but an infinate baffle mid I need help. They have a QTS of .90 so my question is what would the minimun size encloseur be?I believe(not certain if true)that you multiply the VAS by 10 for infinate baffle minimum size box.The morels have VAS of .3 cu ft,so they should have a 3 cu ft encloseur? How about an optimun encloseur size? QTS.90, QMS2.99 VAS.3 CU FT, FS 67 XMAX 4MM

If you are going to use these in your car, then all it means is they are made to be slapped into your car doors. Just make sure to close up all the big openings and deaden that door for optimal performance.

^ Yep. There's at least 2 cu ft of airspace in the average car door anyway.

if you have the skill and available airspace, a properly designed and built sealed or vented enclosure for your midrange/midbass will always work better than i/b............

Mike Mineo from Brooklynns Best Audio had doors vented in his IASCA winning IROC in the 90's, but that was just for midbass/bass.

X4, the work involved would not justify the results, and that's assuming you have the skills, money, the right door, and that you are relatively blind...as that door would look fugly in order to be larger enough to deliver the goods for an IB speaker. Not to mention it would be a thief magnet!
