I agree, the speakers are close to the vents, but, my car has a-pillar curtain airbags, so, i had to keep the set below the airbag deployment area of the Airbag... so... i'd take the foggy windows over having the TB's and Tweeters come at me at 1000000 miles/hr due to an airbag deployment...

Constraints of install i guess...
