Jbl Gto804 ??
Okay right now I have a 15" sub and a very uncooperative car. Lately I've also thought that there really is no point having a rediculously loud system that can't be used as a daily driver if theres always going to be someone better anyway. So I was thinking about getting some 8's because they could be discretely placed throughout the car and it's be great for a daily driver because of the quality. The only thing is my amp is a 3000w RMS mono and I'm not so sure if it'd be that great with a bunch of 8's. So far I'm thinking of selling my 15" and getting some JBL GTO804's..they're only about 50 bucks each on ebay and with a bunch of them in the proper boxes I'm sure they'd pound. I love the lows my W15 hits (and personally I think they are more impressive than higher frequencies) but quality is starting to seem like the way to go. Any alternative suggestions are welcome for sure .
Another thing.. The car I'm putting this stuff in is an 88 Chrysler LeBaron. The speakers are in the worst places they could possibly be in. There are two on the dash and they're tiny tiny tiny. Not sure exactly what size though. The other two are in the back window but the space they're in is also tiny, although I checked from the trunk and they look like 6x8s maybe. In the future I'm planning on upgrading speakers. Any suggestions for replacing them?

Didn't you ask this question already?
I would stick with the 15". Make your box smaller. Why would you worry about how loud other cars are? If you compete that's one thing, but for a daily driver who cares.
The GTO 8 is ok, but they will never compare to a 15".

yeah i asked this question earlier but it was kinda an update now that i actually have the car. the trunk is reeeeally small so i dont really wanna put a box in there. any ways to fit a 15 inside the car? even in a sealed box. id like it to look half decent and it would be ok if it took up one of the seats i suppose.
