JL Audio ZR650-CSi vs Hertz Mille MLK165

I am trying to decide between these two speakers sets.

HANDS DOWN MLK165 - with over 2 years of listening to them they just get better and better. midbass is some of the best i've ever heard period. handles tons of power where as the jl zr are more brittle and handle far less power.

 

^^^^have you heard both in the exact same environment and had an opportunity to compare them against each other?

 

yes experience with both in my own personal car. actually swapped both sets out and went to hybrid audio technologies.

personally 2 way setups don't really fill my needs anymore. but none the less both great speakers but for 1000$ retail the mlk165 is hands down my choice.
i wouldnt pay 500$ for the jl zr which is dealer cost. rather go with a hybrid audio clarus set over them.

so you like hybrid over the mille wow.. having heard the jl a million times and the mille alot. and never hearing scotts mids.. iam now going to have to listen to some... paging scott bwalda.. please send me a set of your best cost is no object 6.5 to me stat... lol..

I agree on all counts. I find no flaws in MLK165 < HSK 165XL < and MLK2.

 

i have not been impressed at all by any of the 2 cars ive heard with Hybids stuff or the stores ive heard them in.....
