well im looking to build a new box for my L5 and am looking for an SQL box.

anyoen use this sub and have any suggestions?

right now i have a design made up that is 2.25 cubes useing 2 3" round ports that are 9.5 inches long giveing me a tuning frequency of 39 ish. ( i used winisd to get port length)

the way im buildign the box is to save trunk space. so it will be 36w*10d*15h ( inches)

it will be ported upwards(underneath the holes where the 6x9's used to be) while the sub will face the trunk lid.

does this soudn good or should i use a different setup??

Check out kickers website and see if they have an old manual for it. For that ten if you can't find anything else, try like 1.25-1.5 cubes (kickers like bigger boxes) tuned to 30-33 hertz if you want a lot of low end, or 34-36 for street bass. Tuning past that will make your response very peaky and lack some low end.
