I have one of the pioneer subs in my dodge and it sounds awsome, i had it in a sealed box, but changed it into ported box where i hit 140.0 db at the port with it, off of a factory deck in my truck, but everyone is different so its still ur choice

Both are great for their price( sound good at any price). I've always liked pioneer subs, they just always have a nice deep, fat sound which really brings the music together. Kickers are an excellent sub as well though I've not used them (heard lots of them though)in at least a decade. I doubt you could go wrong with either as long as they're set up right.

I love CVR's. I've only heard the primiers once in a blazer and wasn't impressed for the power that was on them.
