I think the speaker alignment is ok with the CDTs now:

Direct view

Angled view

Stock location (where the TN-52 will be)

Since I am not competing or go to shows, I will keep things out of sight so I don't worry parking it on the street at night.

No SweetnLow91SC I do not have the specs sheet for the CDT mid. It's not included in the package and couldn't find it on the net.

gleepoy, I don't know about k2p on IB but they do have much better midbass on the board in the dealer shops. I really don't have a chance to listen to them in car environment. Since I know they are capable of good midbass so I've just ordered them through Forbidden for a really good price, much better than the shops I went to in Burnaby and Coquitlam.

I will keep the new Focal tweeter in the stock location under the windshield and see if I like it. It's less work and $ that way and I might like it. Thanks for all your opinions.

Off topic, I am into photography as well, especially nice car audio and stuff. If you want some nice pics of your system I can help. Here's some pics I took in CES last year.

A guy wants me to shoot a really nice pic of his ride and this is what I did:

guy printed the 2nd one 16''x20'' and hangs it on the wall

without the spec sheet and no sound clip.. there's just not enough info to go by to plot the potential of the CDT woofer for midbass.

in the other hand the Focal K2p 6.5" woofer should work quite well in the doors without an enclosure..... as the Fs is about 70hz and not bad Bl at 5.26na.

I found the specs for the CDT woofer. Click here

Found the link off this page. However it looks a little different from what I have. Mine isn't carbon fiber finish on the cone. I would assume they are very similar drivers with same parameters.

Nice to see a Nikonian here at CCA. Have D70 over two years now and still pleased with its picture quality. Hope to see more of your work soon zzzzzzzz.
