Class AB that is! We got one PPI21400 on sale which does 700 watts x 2 and do agree as far as power over clarity for this amps. I've heard the same negative feedback on clarion.

yea i was amazed the amount of effortless power and clarity for an old amp..it just keeps givin

Try looking through online catalogs. They re a great source of good units at fair prices.
