I'm wondering who here has had experiance with the Memphis Audio MClass 6-1/2" Component Speakers????

What are your opinions on them???

I would HIGHLY recommend listening to this prior to purchase. I heard it in several set-ups and it was usually a smidge shrill... but detailed and revealing. I heard it sound darn good in the right install (P9 system too) so it is capable of good things BUT it is not for the newbie or for most sound boards.

 

These speakers are *VERY* bright out of the box. Do keep that in mind. I was pleased with the build quality of the woofer... And you get the Memphis warranty.

As far as how do they sound? You should listen to them and judge for yourself... and I'm nowhere near qualified to say if they sound good or not...

I listened to many different component sets on the sound boards, and a few in cars, I got a pretty good deal on the Memphis set mentioned above, but they dont sound all that great in my car...

Right now they're just powered off my Clarion VRX745 DVD player, would an amp improve the quality of them that much more, or wha???
