Midbasses

can anyone recommed a set of 8 inch drivers to be used as a midbass in my doors. gonna be mounted on door panel freeair and preferably around 50-75 rms and of course 4 ohms i was looking at these. Parts Express:GOLDWOOD GW-8024 8" BUTYL SURROUND WOOFER 4 OHM

just something to fill the gap between my kick panels and subs. ive read the type x 12 dont play the higher freq so great

Well not many 8" drivers require such little power, but are you looking for a 8" speaker I'd say Kicker, Elemental Design, JL, and a few others.

yea but im just looking for woofer not so much a subwoofer

dude check out the earthquake 8 inch shallow subs... call james chevrette and he will hook you up... they are unbelievable....

hate to sound picky but i really dont like the look of those dustcaps the speakers will be in plain view

What kind of depth do you have to work with? The BC 8NDl51-8 might interest you. They are 8 ohm but have a very high efficiency. Check them out BCSpeaker

depth is not really a issue. i have about 8 inches but i really only want something around 50-75 rms
