mixing speaker sizes in the door panels?

Just wanting to know what everyones thoughts are on mixing a 6.5 and 5.25" speakers both mounted in the bottom front of the door panel. My plan is to mould a panel out of fiberglass and mount them with the 6.5 at the front and the 5.25 right behind it...
What would the disadvantages be if any? My plan is just to parallell them off the amp and run them at a 2 ohm load. Also, will it sound out of phase if I run another set of 4" speakers at a 4 ohm load of the other 2 channels on the amp?

The only reason to do what you are thinking about doing, would be if you wanted to send different signals to different speakers... ie, use the 6" as midbass only, and the 5.25s as mids/highs.... and in that case they should be in seperate enclosures....

my advice is to keep it simple and use a single speaker.. or look into going with a proper 3 way setup...
