for your price range you could upgrade the mlk 165's to a mille set, big difference between the two

Where could I get the Mille for 1K or less? I'd certainly be interested if you could steer me somewhere. PM me if you like

hey i know for a fact that the mille set are at east hamilton radio and that they are 999.99$, thats a fact cause its right up on the display, now they are not the mlk2 but they are the 6.5" component in the mille series and an amazing series, i myself run all hertz stuff and have been amazed

so the Mille sits between the MLK165 and the MLK2? I'm confused - looking at the hertz website, it appears the Mille is the top of the line, and the MLK165 is the 2 way component set as a part of that lineup

I agree, the Focals are a tad brighter personally speaking, and will tend to make me want to change..,something later. The Morel Elates are the right balance for me, I like their full bodied mid range, the top end is crisp and clean, and the low end can't be argued with, considering the balance of the system.

the focal KRX series new aramid fiber tweeter is really smooth, got to play with a set of KRX2's on wednesday and wow! they made my K2P's seem second rate. Only thing I don't like is focal went 2ohm..and the KRX3 set drops to 0.8 Ohm at the midbass/midrage crossover point so it really freaks out some amps

I have a perfectly mint 6.5" Clarus set in a box I may be persuaded to sell. I let my buddy run them for a few weeks, and after those came out, DLS Nobeliums went in. I can vouch for Clarus and they are simply incredible, and so are the Nobeliums, but totally different beasts. DLS is very laid back, and Hybrid are on a brighter side.
