B&W's are sweet drivers. I would love to have the 801 Nautilus as my home speakers. They have the coolest snail-looking enclosure.
Picky point the B&W Nautilus looks like the nautlus shell the 801 Nautilus looks like an 801 with the aerodynamic tweeter. One of my HE salesmen wanted me to use that tweeter in an install

I actually listened to that car in the driver's seat at a show in Philli. IT was pretty damn impressive. Still one of my favs to this day.

That link won't work for me Maybe it was his older install I was thinking of because he did two major ones. The first one had the elevating pods from the dash with the swiveling mid and tweet. The next one had the HUGE a-pillar mounted mids and tweets. That car reportedly had tonality that nobody could touch but imaging and soundstage suffered.

I have a really old set of the 803's, but I'm not sure if they work or not, I bought them for 200 bucks a couple months ago and haven't hooked them up.

As for most expensive driver? I dunno, maybe the Focal Berilliums? $3000!!

</font>
Ah ha! That link finally worked. The 13s were used in the first system. The diagram of the car shows them in each fender. I knew I remembered 13" somewhere.....

One thing I find interesting is the laser-assisted 'sweet spot' listening position. I could see that being the next phase in ultimate sq competition. The judges have to sit in the perfect spot placed by the competitor and to take it one step further, I could see someone trying head braces

SUX 2BU, you've just brought my little secret out into the open. My car has a natural sweet spot, and it's not with the seats ramed all the way back. Lucky for me, I have power-seat position memory. A head brace wouldn't be nessessary, I'd just set up the seat memories for different sized judges.
