If you can hook a sub into the wall (120 volts @ 60 Hz) and it dosen't blow that's impressive.

If they only made the L7's with more excursion. I'm saying it has pretty good excursion </font>[/QUOTE]I am saying the MTX MXS have more displacement than a Kicker L7 and it has an xmax of about 16.5 mm, I am sure a 9500 with 25.5 mm xmax would definately have more displacement.

i would also bet that almost any high power amp could destroy one of those 9500's. A mtx 1500d on a single 9500 will most likely destroy it. There are limitations on every woofer. But this is one of the exceptional ones on the market.
