Lightbulb MTX high-end speakers

Thunder Axe Model TXC6.1 - 2way or TXC6.1 & TXC6.0 - 3way

Anyone got a chance to audition these drivers?

They claim to be better then most other high end speaker companies.

They look slick and hopefully measure up.

'mtx' and 'high end' in the same sentance hahaha
seriously though, i am sure they sound fine, but there are far better options for the same price.

Ive owned 5.25 and 6.5" versions of these speakers. Nice sound, but for $600 msrp, definately better speakers. If you can get a set for about $250 somehow, then thats more like it.

Thumbs up

I have the TXC 4.1 and TXC 6.0 for a 6/4/T active front end.

I've ran these for over 2 years and really like them. They're a perfectly capable SQ speaker set

There's likely better sounding drivers out there for the same money but I haven't found anything that keeps it together like these do when I really lean on the volume and I lean on it a lot.
