Narrowed Choices for Subwoofer.

Looking for either a single 12 or 15". Havent Yet decided, but looking for something with fairly good SQ.

Will be powered with 1000RMS at 1ohm. so looking for a sub that will fit accordingly.

So far my options are
-SI Mag v4
-ID MAX
-FI Q

Any other Options? also would a vendor be able to give me some prices on these subs.

Mach 5 IXL 12 or 15, low fs, good efficiency, 1000rms conservative. Canadian and good prices with free shipping in canada.

SSA Icon 12D2 (340$ Shipped from PTS)
Fi Q
Mach5 IXL12v2D2 (210$ direct)

But what happened to the JL w6 ? 1 single 12 will not beat those 2...

From intermediate to high listening levels choice would be between IDMax and the Mag, and from high to brutal listening levels choose between the IXL and Fi Q. The latter pair can be pushed really hard. Pricing will most likely be the deciding factor, as all four are capable in their own ways.

I have switched my priorites a little bit, and now I will only have room for a single sub.

I was also wondering. Is there anything by DD that would serve as a good Sq driver, or are they all mainly geared towards SPL?

the Creative Sound SDX15 should be on that list as well IMO. $275Cdn shipped to your door last time I checked. superb SQ with impressive low-end. loving mine for HT.
they're dual 2 ohm, rated at 1kw as well. my experiences with Bob have been completely painless, great guy to deal with.

DD makes the 9100 series, which are their SQ drivers. expensive and rather rare, but from personal experience with my 9115 they do sound very good.

Amazing low end monster, but if you don't have a frontstage to match it at 50Hz forget about it!

Well for the the best of both world I could recommended the JBL W15GTI but the final load will be 3ohms...
