Cool Need help for Sub setup (WTB for SQ mostly)

I'm starting a new install in my Toyota Venza and been out of the market for a good while...and need you guy's help!
My setup will be MBquart premium 6x9 comps + 3in Dayton in front (6 speaker in total). Cliff's 6.5 in the back for rear fill.
MB DSC480 for front and Rear. 1500.1 Class D for the sub.
I would like to save my stock Alternator\battery setup and use it a 2ohms for about 750wrms. Got a 3F cap though.
I want to have a VERY slim box straped to the rear seats, probably no more then 1.5cuft inside volume. I'm considering going with either 1 or 2 subs...would go higher in quality if 1 only.
My choices so far:
DC sound Labs (1 lvl3 12 or 2 lvl2 12 )
Fi SSD 12 (1x since more expensive)
Re audio (2 SRX 12's or one SEX)
LMS-R (one 12 but $$$ and maybe too big a box needed)
Alpine TypeR (P3 \1243D most probably or P3S less likely)
Would also consider a 15....
Expert advises will be appreciated :-)

You've got enough space for either a ported 10 or a sealed 12. If you listen to rap, you might as well use a beefy 10 @ 1 ohm in a ported box. If you want a cheap, decent, daily, long-lasting setup, do something like two sealed SSA DCON 12's (300W each, will take 375W in small sealed) in 2.28 cf3 internal (1 cf3 each), which yields an FC of 50-60hz, which is why I suggested a ported 10. They're $125 each. I can't help but think that a DD 9510G ($200-$300 used) in 1.5 cubes ported on 1500W would be way better, if you're after big bass. I used a 1500W amp @ 1 ohm on a stock 90A alternator and it was fine, no dimming. That is around the limit though. Toss the cap.

You have a lot more space than 1.5 cf3, right? If you want this to be stealthy, you can install on the sides and such. Look at slim drivers if you want it to be really slim and covering the entire rear seat. Wouldn't take up much space, and you'd be able to fit like four cheap ones.

Thanks for the input. I will investigate the SSA solution for sure. I must admit going sealed would be a first for me..I have used my Shiva MKII 12 in a big 5cuft ported box in 2 installs but just cannot fit that into my venza. That sub with a 360wrms Punch amp was shaking alot..and going very-very low!
That is why going one 12 ported at 1.5 WOULD be interesting, if at all possible! (??)
I will try going to some shops and listen to sealed boxes today...(I have a prejudice against "sealed" thinking you can feel the bass but not ear it)
I heard an Audison 10 in a 1.5 ported box last week..and you could ear the bass very well. ($$$$ though)

Don't fear the sealed box! A ported 10 or a sealed 12 in 1.5 cubes is the perfect airspace for both. A discontinued Eclipse SW8200 (12"/LMS motor/<$200) would be great for 1.5 cubes sealed on 750W, it has an FC of something like 40hz. They get reeeeally low.

Any of the old Eclipse aluminum cone 12" subs would be ideal in this application if it is a match to the amp. You have a monster sub amp for the wrong application sub is what it looks like to me. Use the amp power wisely....

Haven't found the eclipse locally. FI, DC sounds or SSA are all imports for me but might be worth the trouble. Close to Montreal,QC, I have seen deals on Clarion WQ3010D (100$) and on Alpine TypeR (140$) but not sure if they are any good.
The DC lvl 3 seems to be the closest match to my old Shiva with 22.5 mm of excursion, followed by the Fi SSD (21) and the SSA Icon at 20.5 (but with 1000wrms). Oh man! tough decision. And the LMS-R is this not ruled out.
Going to a PowerBass local dealer later today, to see if they got any good stuff...

X-max is only one factor out of many that determines performance. When Adire closed down, the Shiva was copied by Dayton, and Acoustic Visions (Shiva X), or atleast I read it in a thread dated 2008. Acoustic Visions had $125 4th-gen Brahma (12 & 15) clones in 2007, because the suspensions were stiffer than when they ordered them. I can't find the Acoustics Visions website though, what a steal.

Dayton's version of the Shiva:

The Eclipse titanium's are great, and even though the new designs aren't LMS motors, the SW8210 & SW8010 model better in smaller sealed boxes, at a lower frequency, without the Q being far from .707, and +80W power handling from the old TC design. Single 4 ohm:

SW8210
QTS .43
VAS 1.5
FS 19

1 cubic foot
QTC 0.6799 (0.0271 from 0.707)
FC @ 30.04
F3 @ 31.29

1.5 cubic feet
QTC .6081
FC 26.87

2 cubic feet
QTC .5688
FC 25.13

I think I know my new favourite sealed subwoofer, can you say low end monster?

Geezz...I have bought a RE SEX 12 for 149 last night.....but after seeing your reply, I went on Sonic to see the 8210 was the same price 149!..
Probably a superior driver that eclipse but hey..I will have to do with my RE. I was already ordering a GPS/double din deck and a PAC-SWv1 (from Sonic) so adding a sub was easy...just not super happy with my choice anymore...oh well...we'll see.
