New Beefy Comps TS-C720PRS

Anyone get a chance to audition this new set yet? Looks like a well made set from what I've seen so far.

Component Speakers - TS-C720PRS

Garnered a decent review for what it's worth also:

Look nice but CAE ( that I love to read) is kind of biased reviews, aleays a questions of who pays the magazine, and maybe it's a coincidence but just near the revies in the mag there is the adds of pioneer, lol... and I haven't seen bad review in this mag yet, lol....

They sure look pretty. The reivew, to me, seems like he is trying extra hard to compliment them.

In any case, seems like a good deal especially since you can get them for a bit over 200US online.

I'm not sure that I'd really consider 50watts RMS 'beefy'... lol

They look nice, but without even basic T/S paramaters how am I supposed to tell if they will work in a specific application ????

Okie dokie I'll ask it again for those that missed it: Has anyone AUDITIONED the new set yet? I don't give a flying **** if you have seen the T/S specs or care what they are rated for power wise (considering it's likely a full range power spec unlike a power spec at a given HP crossover point like many others anyways).

Anyone heard them?

Lightbulb

I have not but if they are at all like the previous PRS drivers, they are worth finding and considering. Pioneer can build a really nice speaker when they want to.

That's the way it seems to me also. Every once in a while Pioneer really steps up and brings a wonderful driver to the table.

Hmm, well see there you go not being able to read again Haunz. I still haven't found anyone who's auditioned them yet but thanks again for your useless post.
Actually maybe I could help you out also. I do a lot of volunteering for disadvantaged kids who can't read, etc. and I'm sure I could find a seat for you in one of the classes if you wish (let's see here where's that fun little icon you used in your post.....oh here it is) .

here is another useless post..... (since you probably won't clue in anyway)

You could find someone who says they sound fantastic..... but unless you know the install, specifically the airspace the mids were in..... how will you know they will still sound fantastic in your install ??

Sound is pretty subjective... maybe its just me but I find asking for opinions of how a speaker sounds is like asking what something tastes like.... hmm... coke vs pesi or pioneer vs alpine...

In closing... blow me...
