new guy looking for info

hey
looking for more info on setting up my truck for better SQ.
the trucks a suzuki sidekick 4 door. currently running a sony deck, energy 10" sub in a ported box powered by a small visonik amp. thinking of swapping in a kenwood kac 923 in its place, a pair of pioneer 4 inchers in the stock location up front and some crappy nextar 6x9s in the rear.

any advise on what i got now and what i can do to better it would be great, other then that ill probably just be lurking about and posting from time to time.

pat

if a lil extra money is there leave the sub and amp alone unless they dont do what u want them to.
i would buy a cheap 4ch amp and 4 new speakers and power them up. u got a small truck so unless u going for crazy bass, amped speakers will give u alittle more than a better amp on the sub imo.

dont plan on changing the sub anytime soon, im quite happy with that.
id like to do 6.5 components up front and some 6.5 coaxes out back. ill start by swapping out the nextars asap since one is blown anyways. up front is going to require some custom work for anything other then the 4 inch that came stock.

since i have a 2ch amp already would i be better of amping the fronts or rears untill i can get a 4ch amp?

Same for power into them, -Almost- any amp'd source will be better than deck.(got a 2 ch. throw it in)
The rears can survive on deck power till need be imo.
