Why not deal with a vendor that works to earn your business and take care of you in the long run?

^^ your better off to buy from a shop then from like all over the internet, you will get a better combination of gear.

i have the pionner DVC 12" subs they sound awesome for $125 dollar subs

you might also consider upgrading those 3.5's, dunno havent heard them tho

MR2NR is right. He is in your neck of the woods sort of speaking and is a very knowledgeable and stand up guy. He would treat you better then ebay

I can see buying a used amp, only IF you see it working. I'd never buy used speakers anywhere, anytime.
ebay is where people sell thier garbage rather than throwing it out.
BNIB is BS.

LX ? Does that stand for Less Xtras ? I heard it was faster than the GT just because it's 200 Lbs lighter.

the lx just doesnt have the body kit like the gt and stuff! so okay then say i wanted to spend like 200-250 each sub and like 600 on a amp? also what about 1 16 instead of 2 12 s would i sound as good?

Lightbulb

Is it a coupe or hatchback? If it's a coupe I would keep it to a pair of 10s. A hatch would allow you to step to a pair of 12s but 10s work well too. I would avoid anything bigger than 12 for that car - especially a coupe.

I say buy local, I'm guessing your pay check gets signed by a CDN, somewhere in BC, you buy from the US and not 1 cent of that is gonna come back to your on your paycheck, whatever you do. Support a local business and expert and he's probably gonna pump some business back into your paycheck..

Tom - What site are you telling this guy to go to for your pricing?

Anyways, I know quite a few dealers etc that could do a great system with the wattage etc you are talking about for that price..

So my advice to the guy asking the question, start shopping around and see what your can do..

Agree with Duck on this one 10's or 12's - remember smaller subs in more air can work better than larger ones in less!
