New Toy from Hybrid

I've decided to switch out my Hybrid L8's (Legatia 8") for the smaller C6's (Clarus 6" ). The L8 is a great speaker, but my application need somthing a little different. My install will be going through a few changes over the winter and this was the first step in acheiving my SQ goals.

Here are a few pics of my new little monsters!

Pressed paper. It's a stiff bugger for sure.

I like those L8's what are you doing with them? I was thinking of flogging my Fi and using dual L8's as subs!

the Clarus series midbass/midranges are quite impressive if you give them enough airspace to work with. I have now installed a few sets and am running the L8/3/1 set in my Honda Fit and can say absolutely nothing but great things about hybrid.....okay 1 tiny bone to pick.. You do need a good bit of airspace for them to shine.... no tight sealed enclosures. otherwise they dominate the competition in tonal accuracy and natural warm sound..and can get ballz out loud too.
