Noise From Alt./ Speakers.
Alright, car runnin stereo on, no sound, you can hear this almost buzzing noice from speakers. I check to make sure Main power wires are not near any other wires, etc.
I find when I rev up the car, the noise gets louder and faster. So it has somthing to do with my Alternator, and power wire.
Could this sound be caused by a bad alternator, or power wires close to other wires.
I have a 1977 Monte Carlo, with the stock 305 engine. Upgraded battery, Big 3, All clean sanded grounds with paint over them to reduce corrosion, and terimal ends all clean.
Thoughts ?

get a multimeter set it to OMS (like on a sub it is a VC 4oms sub) so if you have the same oms on all the toys in your set up you will have no buzz
so decks have a buzz you would need to ask what decks do (i do not know what deck do have it )
so if you have tried all things you may need to try a new deck but i would try this 1st

If you mean OHMS, then yes. From my deck, to a line converter, those RCA's to my Legacy La290 amp, 4 channel, 100w X 4. 4ohm output, to each of my door and rear speakers, which are 4ohms.
Then the rca output set on the back of the deck, to my 2 kenwood kac9102D amps. 2ohm output. To my 2ohm subs, each wired seperatly to each amp.
I tried adjusting the line converter, but I am still getting buzzing, by the sound of the alternator.

and so on
if you get the same # on all toys then that is not where it is coming form if you see more then one # come up then you need to get them all the same # by moving your - wire
i also need to ask in your rca's are you using the 3rd wire in it ,if so how are you using it ?
and i think you are
