noob question

hi everyone, I got a question about my what I should buy. I already have a CD5000 hu, and 2 old school soundstream amp and I looking for some speaker, I hesitate btw kappa 692,7i with kappa perfect 10'' and kappa perfect 6.5 component. My other choice would be to go with nakamichi stuff (they're 6x9,10''sub and probably 6.5 to the front. what do you think would sound better? (a mix of both, only nak or infinity ??) also I often listen blue man group, van halen, techno, well almost everything.
thank you!!

I can't comment on the Nak drivers, but I have listened to some infinity components and they are good. My advice is find a sound board with good sq drivers and compare them to see what you like. Everyones taste is different. I happen to like the Focal k2 line, the JBL gti series and the Hertz mille. If I were to buy another set, it would probably be the Hertz, and if money were no object, the Focal Utopia be line.

I think the Infinity's will sound harsher with your amp and HU than the Nakamichi or possibly other drivers like Morel?

thank you, i have listen to some infinity perfect and they sound good to me, be I recently saw that I can have nakamichi stuff for about the same price. To me nakamichi is on a higher level than infinity, but I wasn`t sure if nakamichi is good as they are in home audio.
