remote wire question (noob question)
Just wondering..I got 3 amps, for the remote wire can i just solder hem all together and run a wire from there to the deck? or is there a better way to do it?

Go to radio shack and grab a relay.
basically, you wire the remote wire into one post on the relay, then a constant 12V wire to another post and then, depending on how many outputs the relay has, you run one wire to each amp.
Most head units can handle two amps.

No, if it was just splitting the power, you might as well just splice three together.
When it sees power coming from the remote lead, it connects the constant 12V to the three (or more) outputs. I can't remember the reasoning behind it, but the head unit just doesn't play nicely with more than two amps, while tapping straight to the battery works.

the reason why they are telling you to get a relay is because the remote turn on only puts out so much power. the amp will draw a bit of power through the remote turn on and if it draws too much there could be a problem.
