I was mistakenly assuming you meant active x-overs as something other than the DEQ-P9 itself!

i run my p9 combo on focals with the active crossover.
Make sure you set the frequencys right so you dont pop a tweeter.
start at 4-5Khz for the crossover on the tweeter.
the deck will run 36db slopes as well, i recommend that setting [img]smile.gif[/img]

I would tend to agree though. I would choose something a bit shallower.
