5-1/4" mid and tweeters are what the mounts in my doors are made for, so i've decided to stick with that.

I've narrowed it down to 3 choices, so i'm wondering what you guys think are better?
MB Quart RCE-213
Or
Phass ES 5.4
Or
CDT HD-52

Any input appreciated. Especially if you've had experience, or actually listened to any of them. Thanx, Tom

 

I ama little hard of hearing (go figure), I prefer the top end of the MB Quart speakers myself, especially once the windows are down and the wind and road noise take away most top end from silk dome or mylar tweeters. To each his own though, you lave lots of really good choices in speakers to choose from.

 

i've never heard the other 2 but i know MB quart sounds good

 

Why not a set of Morel Pulses? They are in the same price range.

 

What have you had a chance to listen to ????

You should come out to the Concepts on Wheels show on May 27 as there's a tweek and tune as well as an SQ competition. Come listen to some cars and see what they are running before you make up your mind. And you should add DLS to that list BTW

I've listewned to mbquart-pretty good, focal-great, but way overpriced and pheonix gold-ok, but i like the price better.
A freind here at work says he likes the pheonix gold better, and i can get them for 99 US, where i was looking at 3-500.
Any opinions on the Pheonix gold Xenon X5.0?
