PLEASE, be aware that you get what you pay for. In this case, it's a distributer making a good profit on a cheap comp set.
I have personal experience with this series, and they are very disapointing. If Fisher Price built comp sets, this is what they'd look like.
I don't normally trash product like this, but sometimes a guy has got to take a stand against the crap.

I've seen many European drivers, some very expensive, with composite frames. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
I'd rather see composite than stamped steel. I put it on the same level as cast aluminum.
I should clarify that I have never heard the Peerless drivers in question so I am not defending them at all but rather the blanket statement that a composite frame makes for a bad driver.

I held the driver in my hand, I could flex the frame with my fingers.
Composite is good, plastic (think ABS) is bad IMO.
It took all of a few minutes listening for the owner to frown and send them back.
I guess I should have said that in the first place instead of tearing into how they were built.
