i would have guessed 1 because that way you can correct any bad signals the amp creates. but klown you are taller than me, so you're probably right.

processing should be done before the amplifier.
is there even a processor out there that you allow for it to be placed after an amp?
usually they have a variety of inputs and RCA outs to go to the amp. ...no wire out for speakers.
