Question: Is this a dumb idea?

I just ordered these components.

Precision Power PPI 356CS

And I am not using an amp, will these components sound like unless I amp them? I mean my stock speakers are total so at least the new speakers will be getting the whole 15watts out of my deck.

It's just a cheap deck, I don't need anything fancy...

link doesn't work, what kinda deck is it and how is it only putting out 15w a speaker??? usually anything's better then stock anyways i wouldn't worrie about hooking them up without an amp, although and amp would be alot nicer.

Yeah the link doesn't work...crap.

JVC MP3 CD Car Deck (KD-R400)

It's just a basic $150 deck, I bought it because it has a front USB input and it works very well on this HU it reads really fast.

It says 20watts RMS x 4 on the back of the box, It might say different in the manual but I can't find it .

There will be distortion at higher volumes when using speakers powered from a deck. Keep a look out on the forums for cheap 2 or 4 channel amps for sale, it will be your best investment

if you are one to buy off ebay, look for an amp that will do at least 50rms @ 4ohms.

4 ohms: 85 watts x 4 chan.

This is what that amp can do, if I decide to get it I will use it to power my rear 6x9 3-ways as well.

I am going to use Kicker 3-ways instead of buying a sub (I need the trunk space).
