Thumbs up RCA is surprisingly good

I personally have several of the RCA lines in my Acura CL for over the past year+

For the fronts, I'm running the RC6500C 6.5" Components, while the rear-fills are handled via RC693 6x9 Coaxials.

I know there are alot of enthusiasts who would instantly dismiss these speakers, however take my word for it -- these are great speakers (especially for the money).

They sound clear and do sound comparable to speakers costing 3x the price.

They're running off a Pioneer DEH-P5900IB HU to an Alpine MRV-F345 4-channel amp, while I have a Kenwood bridged amp running a Kenwood Tornado 10" sub w/ box.

Here are the specs:

RC6500C -
300W Max, 6.5" Component Full Range Speakers
RMS Power Handling: 150 watts
Sensitivity: 88.9dB
4 ohm Impedance
P.E.I. Titanium Tweeter
20 oz. Strontium Magnet
Frequency Response: 30Hz - 22kHz
Mounting Depth: 2.65"

RC6933 -
3-way 6" x 9" speakers
Carbon-injected woofer cone
Butyl Rubber surround
P.E.I. Titanium tweeter
60 oz. Strontium Magnet
RMS Power handling: 250 watts
Frequency response: 35Hz - 22kHz
Sensitivity: 92.5 dB
Peak power handling: 500 watts
Top-mount depth: 3.25"

Once you hear them you would be surprised how good they are.

I'm running a 6.5" component set of RCA's in my truck and these things are excellent. I originally put them in as temporary's while I decided what I really wanted to run, but these things will be staying in permanetly. They are cyrstal clear and crank up very nicely (ear bleedingly loud). I have ran many expensive speakers in the past and these are right up there in sound quality. The three other people who have listened to my system have bought a set of these as well.
