Really good SQ speakers, yet inexpensive?
So there's Eclipse. Pioneer makes a good comp set that would work, so does Sony and Alpine as well. I have also heard of a company called Nakamichi that is supposed to be good. Anyone know about them and where I could find some price info on them?
Ok I maybe should have given a bit more information. I have a 6 speaker sound system in my car. 3.5" in the front dash, 6.5" in the door and yes, the 6x9 are for the rear deck. The speakers are already the upgraded sound for my car and are Boston Acoustic.
So I'm hearing Morel, Focal and Clarion. The Focal Access 165 A3 seem just perfect. The Clarion Signature series seems really nice as well. But Which Morel are you talking about? Their website is confusing.
Any more help or information would be very very helpful. Thanks already for the suggestions.

The only thing I've ever seen price-wise is this:

amazon.com seems to have some cd players and changers too...
Check wikipaedia for some background...

So here is the list of component systems I think would be the best.
Eclipse SC8365 (3-way)
Hertz Audio ESK 163L (3-way)
Hertz Audio HSK 163 (3-way) (next step up from the previous)
...side note... where could I buy Hertz audio speakers. I cannot find an online dealer or physical retailer anywhere on the net...
Focal 165 A3 (3-way) (probably the #1 pick right now)
Cadence CVL3-WK
I have ignored all 2-way sets as I would have to buy a separate 3.5" mid and a couple of 3-way crossovers to install as well. I would think about a 2-way if there was a matching 3.5" and crossover for the same price as a 3-way set.

For *GUARANTEED AMAZING SOUND QUALITY* check these out:

But more seriously, for $355 shipped I think it'd be tough to beat the DLS UP36 components here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-2009-DLS-UP3...item2a01ca4cf0
and I own the Iridium 6.2 set, which I really like. It's bigger brother is this 3-way, a pretty good deal at $535.

But in the end what sounds good to you sounds good to you. Go audition some sets if you get a chance. BTW what kind of music do you listen to? If you like metal and/ or very crisp highs, I'd recommend the focals with the titanium tweets. If you like more of a laid back sound go with the Iridiums. I've never heard the UP36, so I can't comment on those, other than others have liked them. I've also heard nothing but good things about Hertz speakers, and CDT would be worth looking at if you can find a good deal, just be sure to get something above the entry levels sets.

But keep in mind that even more important than the speakers you choose is the installer you choose. A good installer can make even the worst pair of speakers sound pretty damn good. A crappy install can make great speakers sound like ****.
I have to say there are a lot of great sounding speakers available, but which one will push your happy button? Have you gotten an opportunity to listen to anything? I can say I love some of the speakers mentioned some are merely very good to my ear... and you will also have preferences so try to listen as much as you can. But you are lucky in that there are sooo many good sounding products on the market to add to your confusion.
