replacement for KTX 100EQ?

Hi guys, Great forum!

The time has come for me to upgrade the head unit in my car, right now I have the alpine CDA-9887, and it will be replace with a nav system like this one:

Because the item ended in ebay, you have to scroll down to see the unit and the specs.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...vip=true&rt=nc

My dilemma is that I used the imprint unit "KTX 100EQ" to tune the audio and for years I have been happy with the setup, but now with the changing of the head unit I will lose the tuning options of the "KTX 100EQ".

Any idea how can I achieve a similar sound quality without using the alpine "KTX 100EQ"?

Can a local shop manually tune my car with the new head unit and achieve similar results?

Do I have to buy a new hardware to achieve this, like a processor or something else?

Thanks in advance

Alex
