Second set of tweeters?
Well I upped the volume on my front stage slightly and it sounds like my tweeters are pretty much at the limit. I do want to get a bit louder and this is an option that I have.
I'm currently running a set of MLK165 tweeters from Hertz with approx 60 watts RMS (ratings from a cheap Kenwood amp) per tweet. This will be upgraded in a month to run off of two channels of a PDXF6. I have the option to buy a second set of the tweeters for about 50 bucks and I'm debating on running them in parralel with the existing ones.
My imaging doesn't exist as it is so I'm not too worried about it. They will be located right next to the current ones. Any thoughts?
The rest of the front stage consists of Hertz High Energy 6.5 mids in the dash running down to about 125 hz, then two pairs of MLK165 mids playing there and below.
