Soundstream components
OMFG I love Alpine but im so sick of hearing about the damn F1 system, oh wow its flashy and expensive and has lots of fancy doo dads and accesories! Maybe its just me but after watching my good buddy Mike Peckham take first in nearly every IASCA show and winning first place 2 years running at finals using Canton speakers, stock locations, MTX thunder amps, and all the tuning/time alignment done through a now old Alpine CDA9815 it sold me on the concept of simplicity. The reason he has done so well really has nothing to do with the actual brands at all, its all about how the system was installed and how he tunes it, and I think alot of you guys have forgotten that its those 2 things that either make or break a system. Bigger and flashier isnt always better. Im going to be running a nearly identical setup in my civic which will also be running the stock locations and even though all the gear and install will be done on a shoestring budget I am confident that I will do as well as my buddy Mike because I know how to tune and I know how to install.
Woo hoo I have used award-winning gear!

You know there aren’t a lot of people running Soundstream in the SQ or SPL lanes these days. I haven’t heard their high-end stuff but it looks great. I heard their least expensive line of speakers and I thought they had a very good sound for a small amount of money.

and some dont use pro gear at all, some use audio control, come use sony(anthony davis), some use alpine(corey himmel) some use pro gear, and some dont use any sound precoessing at all, what does it all mean, nothing, lots of people win with all different levels with all types of processors, be it rane, image dynamics, behringer. pro audio processors are far from being the most dominant in competition
