Smile Speaker wire lenghts

Recently purchased a set of Focal KP100 and I'm in the middle of finishing up the wiring for the crossovers.

My question is this:

The crossovers are located closer to the right side of KP100 and the input wires are exactly the same length from the amp to the crossover. When I go to run the tweeter and mid wires, the left side with be almost 4-5ft longer the right side.

Will this affect the balance from both the Left & Right KP100's ?? or should I make both sides equal and coil the remaining slack on the right side to keep it balanced?

Thanks

J

I would keep your wire lengths the same.

4-5 feet difference won't matter.

Dont coil anything. Its a good idea to give yourself a little extra length, but dont go nuts. There will be no sound difference if you have a little more cable on one side.

Is there a difference? sure you can measure a difference with meters and other equipment, but it's so small that you absolutely will never hear a difference. We're talking light speed conducting velocity in a distance of 4-5 feet....and miniscule resistance differences. Nobody's ear on this planet will be able to hear a difference!

I was being very generous with the length once all the wires are tucked away and zip tied I should be around 2-4 ft.

Thanks everyone

there will be a measurable difference but as everyone siad the differince will be so small that one would never be able to hear it....i think on 4 feet of wire it would even be difficult to measure
