Question

im looking for a nice sq sub. one that will work in a small sealed enclosure, were talking about .6 cubic feet max. either two eights, or one 10.
i was looking at purchasing two momo 8's (red logo, silver dish) but i cant get enough reviews on them, i would spend about 100 bucks (cdn) each plus tax. any opinions on these subs?

can anyone suggest anything else?
im looking at around 200 rms each for a two sub configuration. or maybe one more powerul 10.
sound quality i need, i want it to be punchy and not worry too much about distorting. 200 bucks is sort of a max. i know it aint much for what im expecting but on the online retailer market you can score some descent deals.
thanks for input,

I like the re8 sub. I've used two in an abc box and just recently, one in a ~.6cuft ported box.
Very impressive little sub.
You could fit two of them in .6cuft sealed. They call for about half that for each.

Haven't heard any other 8"ers to directly compare though.

Good luck!

Couple Polk reviews there, we had a customer that bought one and threw it in a little bandpass, he was quite happy. I never heard it running though. I did not like the sound of the 10" or 12" ones very much, though. The RE8's are nice, I ran those for a while. Mybe check these out also: http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1208_03/w8-740c.asp http://www.acoustic-technologies.ca/products.html

look around for an Image Dynamics IDQ10 V.2 D2/D4. Try carmedia1.com, Nexxon.com, Boostcaraudio.com, Ebay.com

there bad *** little speakers. sound great-made for very small enclosures-

The Focal is rather sweet and tight for a 8"

There is a guy on www.revscene.net, here in Vancouver, selling two Focal 21H (8") subs, he says that they are brand new with receipts, wants $350 firm for both of them. You have to sign up at Revscene if you want to check it out, or let me know if you want me to put you in contact with him.

I got a pair of Canton Pullman 10s I'm trying to sell. Take 'em for $160. Brand new, never used.
