SQ coax's for classic car install

I have a 1969 Thunderbird coupe. I am installing a simple SQ system, reusing some old gear, and looking to buy some new or used.

I will reuse my Zapco AG360 (2 channels for the front stage, 2 channels bridged for the sub).
I will reuse my Max Fidelity sub.
I will reuse my Audiocontrol EQL.
I will build and install kick panel pods for 6.5 inch coaxials.

I won't be using a head unit though. I need to retain the stock look of the factory AM mono setup.

I will use my iPod Touch, with an RF remote, all mounted in the trunk with the amp etc.

I am looking for recommendations for what 6.5 coaxials to pursue (likely used with my budget of around $200)?

Thanks!

Have a listen to the Morel

Selective Sounds has them on their board.

I am not certain that any Audison or Morel pieces are available under $200?

Hertz energy series are under that. You can even get a great component set for 200$!

I have seen some Energy in the price range.

I could get components, but am thinking that coax's (quality ones) might be the right direction for my install in the old car. Either way I have to build kick panels, but for a single round speaker, it will be easier (I think) for my first build of that nature.

Appreciate the ideas guys!

i personally would use some Focal Access or the new Focal Integration Series of speakers, i find in old hot rods they are a little brighter which is good to get over the road noise and engine noise of older vehicles

Just as an update to this thread, I did end up going in a different direction for this.

I bought a set of DLS Ref 3.6 3 way components.

I bought some used door parts and kick panels, so I can experiment with placement, and will keep all the stock parts stored safely away while I enjoy much better sound.

I found a great wireless solution to using my iPod Touch as the source - the $99 Audioengine W2. Perfect for this application, and I have been using it at home to get used to it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, great forum.
